1. Avene Skin Recovery Cream
I love Avene products from the sensitive line because they work well, don't smell like perfume, and are reasonable priced. This moisturizer works for day and night, and leaves my skin calm and hydrated. Avene Skin Recovery Cream, $32; drugstore.com.
2. Biologique Recherche Lotion P50 1970
This is my desert island product! I will never, ever, ever go a morning or evening without it. It hydrates, exfoliates, and balances my skin. I use it right after I wash my face and before my skin is dry. If the weather is warm and humid—like how NYC is in the summer—I don't even need moisturizer. Biologique Recherche Lotion P50 1970, $98; shoprescuespa.com.
3. Bioderma Solution Micellaire
I just had a baby and started running out of time to wash my face at night (I just wanted to get in bed and sleep!), so I started using this to remove makeup and cleanse my face. I soak a few cotton squares with the solution and wipe off all of my makeup. My skin is much calmer, clearer and hydrated, and I think it's because I'm not using warm water on it twice a day. This is definitely a new daily staple. Bioderma Solution Micellaire, $15; beautyspin.com.
4. Elta MD UV Clear SPF
I've tried nearly hundreds of SPFs and this is my favorite. It's not greasy like many others. Elta MD UV Clear SPF, $26; dermstore.com.
5. Diptyque Baies Travel Candle
I never come to the shows in Milan and Paris without a travel candle that smells like home. We're away from our families for weeks, so anything that reminds me of home is very comforting. Diptyque Baies Travel Candle, $32; barneys.com.
6. Klorane Hand Cream
This is the absolute best hand cream, especially for cold New York winters. You can't buy it in the US, so I stock up every time I'm in Paris. They also make for great stocking stuffers at Christmas. Klorane Creme mains, $6; newpharma.be.
7. L'Artisan Fleur D'Oranger
I've worn this for years and love the travel size version. L'Artisan Fleur D'Oranger, $165; luckyscent.com.
8. La Prairie Creme Caviar Luxe Eye Cream
This is the most hydrating eye cream I've found over the years. Makeup goes over evenly and smoothly. La Prairie Creme Caviar Luxe Eye Cream, $450; beautyencounter.com.
9. Biologique Recherche Masque Vivant
I use this mask at least once a week and always bring it with me when I'm traveling. It kind of stinks, but it's all natural (a big plus for me!), and it leaves my skin hydrated and balanced. I mix in a pinch of baking soda if I'm dealing with a breakout and it clears it up right away. Tip: Buy it from Rescue Rittenhouse in Philadelphia (they have an online shop, too). If you need help deciding what products are right for you, their experts and can recommend products based on your skin type. They also send you free samples, which is always a plus! Biologique Recherche Masque Vivant, $138; shoprescuespa.com.
10. SkinCeuticals Retexturing Activator
I'm a longtime SkinCeuticals fan, and I've used this product for years. It hydrates and exfoliates. I use it in the morning and evening after toner. SkinCeuticals Retexturing Activator, $77; thebeautyplace.com.
